Congenital heart defects are the most common birth defects and nearly one of every 100 babies is born with a congenital heart condition.

This video report focuses on the collaboration between The You Are Not Alone Foundation and the French Association “La Chaine de l’Espoir” in the area of providing medical treatment to Uzbek children with congenital heart conditions. The report also features interviews with parents of the children who were operated on by leading French cardiac surgeons, with the Foundation’s support.

As part of the charity campaign backed by the You Are Not Alone Foundation since 2015, French medical experts have performed over 90 complex surgical procedures on Uzbek children with congenital heart diseases from low-income families and orphanages. With the You Are Not Alone Foundation’s financial support, 13 of these operations were carried out in France.
