Nik Garder – Winner of a Scholarship from the Karimov Foundation

A graduate of the Tashkent branch of the Gubkin University of Oil and Gas, Nik Garder won the Karimov Foundation’s two-year scholarship for postgraduate studies in Europe last year. He is currently studying for his master’s degree in renewable energy at the University of Freiburg in Germany.
“I am looking forward to using the knowledge and skills that I am acquiring here for the benefit of my country, and contributing to building Uzbekistan’s solar energy sector. As is well known, Uzbekistan is a country with 300 sunny days a year,” says Nik.
