Ulughbek Tursunaliyev — Winner of a Scholarship from the Karimov Foundation

Hailing from Uzbekistan’s eastern Andijon Region, Ulughbek Tursunaliyev is a winner of the Karimov Foundation’s 2017 scholarship and is now studying at Ruhr-University Bochum in Germany, where he is working on his master’s degree in computational engineering. 
Before receiving the scholarship, Ulughbek studied at the Tashkent branch of the Polytechnic University of Turin. 
Launched in 2017, the Karimov Foundation’s scholarship programme helps to provide access to international educational opportunities for young Uzbek students, with the hope that the knowledge, skills, and new perspectives they bring back will contribute to Uzbekistan’s progress and development.
